Golden Nest: Food and Basic Needs Center

Personal Hygiene: 

  • Travel sized hygiene items are available at The Golden Nest. Students can take TWO (2) hygiene items per week. Travel sized hygiene items are in addition to the TEN (10) item limit.  
  • Hygiene care kits can be requested once a month for students who need additional hygiene items. Please fill out this form to request a care kit: Hygiene Care Kit Request  
  • Menstrual hygiene products are available for free in all restroom locations at Lemoore College. Please visit The Golden Nest for product availability if restroom locations are out of stock. 


Shower Facilities: 
Shower facilities are open to currently enrolled FCC students experiencing housing insecurity. Showers are available inside the Golden Eagle Arena training room and access is by appointment only.  

One (1) shower kit will be provided at your first appointment. Please care for your items, as they will only be replaced if extremely damaged.  

  • Use only your assigned shower stall for privacy and safety.
  • Do not leave personal items behind.
  • Use provided hygiene kits respectfully. Return towel after use.
  • No loitering in locker room areas. Exit immediately after shower.
  • Report any issues or safety concerns to Basic Needs Center staff.
  • Always respect staff, the space, and fellow students.
