Dreaming of a career as a registered nurse? This associate degree combines classroom learning with extensive clinical experience to prepare you for entry-level nursing practice. You’ll gain expertise in patient assessment, critical thinking, and evidence-based care. Career opportunities include registered nurse positions in hospitals, long-term care facilities, community health, and specialty practices. Graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam and enter one of the most in-demand healthcare professions.

The Concurrent Enrollment Nursing Cohort Program

For students earning an associate degree in nursing, the next step is often to continue their education by pursuing their bachelor’s in nursing (BSN). Through a partnership with Lemoore College and the  University of Phoenix Lemoore College students have a unique opportunity to pursue both an associate's degree and bachelor's degree at the same time.
