LEMOORE, Ca — Lemoore College men’s basketball standout Trey Booker-Lowery has committed to continue his athletic and academic career at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), joining the NCAA Division I Roos for the 2025–26 season.
The 6-foot-6 forward from Murrieta, Calif., delivered an exceptional performance during the 2024–25 season. He averaged 24 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, shooting an impressive 58.8% from the field. His outstanding play earned him the No. 1 junior college ranking in California and the No. 38 spot nationally, according to JUCORecruiting.com.
“Trey’s impact on our program has been extraordinary,” said Lemoore College Athletic Director Walter Parham. “His dedication on the court and in the classroom exemplifies the kind of student-athlete we proudly support. Trey’s hard work is paying off, and his recognition at the state and national level is well deserved.”
Booker-Lowery is pursuing a degree in engineering and has consistently balanced his academic goals with his athletic pursuits. Known for his leadership and positive presence, he has credited the college’s supportive atmosphere as a key factor in his success. “It’s more than just playing the game; it’s about the relationships we build on and off the court. We’re like a family, supporting each other’s dreams and pushing ourselves to be the best,” Booker-Lowery said.
