LEMOORE, Calif. — The Lemoore College Golden Eagles women’s basketball team continues its dominant run, winning 10 of their last 11 games and are currently in second place in the Central Valley Conference as the 2025–26 season builds momentum.
The Golden Eagles recently earned a 75–56 home victory over College of the Sequoias on Jan. 14, controlling the game from the opening tip. Lemoore jumped out early with a strong first half and maintained its lead throughout, showcasing balanced scoring, aggressive defense and consistent rebounding.
Head coach Keshawn Johnson said the team’s focus and chemistry have been key during the streak saying, “This group has stayed locked in and committed to each other,” Johnson said. “They’re playing with confidence, sharing the ball and defending at a high level. We’re proud of what they’ve accomplished so far, and we’re excited to keep building.”
Lemoore will look for another strong finish this Saturday, Jan. 24, when the Golden Eagles return to Golden Eagle Arena for a 5 p.m. home game. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team as it continues its push through conference play.
Saturday’s matchup is part of a basketball doubleheader. The Lemoore College men’s basketball team will take the court earlier that afternoon at 3 p.m. The men enter the weekend with a 10-9 overall record and have shown steady progress throughout the season.
