Ready to Start College? Here's Your Lemoore College Starting Point

Starting college is exciting—but it can also feel like a lot.

You may be wondering:

Where do I start? What forms do I need to complete? How do I pay for college? What classes should I take? And who do I talk to if I get stuck?

At Lemoore College, you don't have to figure it all out by yourself. We've designed our admissions and student support services to help you take the next step, one step at a time.

Whether you're a first-time college student, returning to school, transferring from another college, or looking for a new career path, here's your starting point.

Step 1: Apply to Lemoore College

Your first step is simple: apply for admission.

The application is free, and completing it gets you started on your Lemoore College journey. You'll complete your application through California Community Colleges' CCC Apply system.

Apply to Lemoore College

Not sure which application applies to you? Lemoore College has options for first-time students, returning students, Dreamers, high school dual-enrollment students and students interested in noncredit education.

Step 2: Explore Financial Aid

Don't let the cost of college stop you from taking the first step.

Once you've applied for admission, you can begin the financial aid process. Depending on your circumstances, you may qualify for grants, scholarships, work-study or other forms of financial assistance.

Lemoore College's Financial Aid Office can help you understand your options and navigate the application process.

Start by completing the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) and make sure you list Lemoore College so the college can receive your information.

Step 3: Complete Your Orientation

College may be different from what you're used to—and that's okay.

Lemoore College offers an online student orientation designed to introduce you to the college, its services and the resources available to help you succeed.

Think of orientation as your introduction to the people, programs and resources that will be part of your college experience.

Step 4: Talk to a Counselor

This is one of the most important steps—and you don't have to know exactly what you want to do before making an appointment.

A Lemoore College counselor can help you:

  • Explore majors and career options

  • Create an educational plan

  • Choose your classes

  • Understand degree and certificate requirements

  • Explore transfer options

  • Navigate placement and registration

  • Connect with additional campus resources

Step 5: Register for Classes

Once you've completed the necessary steps and have an educational plan, it's time to build your schedule.

Lemoore College's registration resources can help you learn how to search for classes, understand different course formats and enroll through the student portal.

Register for Classes

Lemoore College also offers Reg365, which allows students to register in advance and plan their schedules for an entire academic year.
