T.E.A.M. Teach is celebrating its graduates! Here's a look
Terri Osterkamp will be graduating with her Early Childhood Education degree. She
is transferring to Fresno Pacific to complete her bachelor’s degree and will begin
her program this July. We are so excited for you Terri! We wish you the very best!
Denise Ramirez is a T.E.A.M. Teach student that will be transferring to Fresno State
to obtain her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She plans on teaching
in a preschool setting or kindergarten level. We wish you the best Denise!
Gabby Perez-Vigil will be graduating this semester. She has been an S.I. and has been
an active T.E.A.M. Teach member. Gabby will be attending Fresno State and majoring
in Psychology with hopes of pursuing a Master's degree in order to become a Marriage,
Child, and Family Counselor for a K-12 school. We wish you the best Gabby, thank you
for all of your support and dedication while attending Lemoore College.
The Future Teacher of the Year Award is given to the student with the highest GPA. I am excited to announce that Arlet
Alatorre is the recipient of this award. Arlet has been a joy in class and I know
that she will do great things in the future. Arlet will be attending Fresno State
this fall to finish where she will complete her bachelors and credential program.
She is excited to be an elementary teacher!
The Community Impact Award is given to the student that has made an impact within the school community, as well
as the community surrounding the school. This award goes to Ashley Chavez. Ashley
has been a big part of creating community opportunities within our campus. She has
supported the planning, implementation and promoting of events as an officer in Educators
Rising. Ashley was also one of nine students in the state of California to serve as
an OER Student Ambassador. Ashley is transferring to Fresno State to complete her
bachelor’s degree and credential program so that she can one day teach. She plans
to teach 4th grade.
Austin Minter is heading to Arizona State University where he will major in Political Science.
I would like to acknowledge the officers of Educators Rising that are all graduating this semester. I am thankful for their time and energy going beyond in supporting all students through engaging in student activities on campus.
Esmeralda Gonzalez Herrera will be attending Fresno State University to obtain her
bachelor’s degree in liberal studies to pursue a career in teaching for early childhood
education.
Reyna Carrera is currently at Fresno Pacific as she completed course with us last
fall. She wants to teach 2nd grade.
Sofie Johnson is graduating with 5 Associate degrees and will be attending UC Berkeley this Fall, double majoring in Mathematics and Business.
She aspires to be a university-level math teacher in the future.
Tyree Reed is graduating this year with a degree in Liberal Arts: Arts and Humanities
and Sociology
