Lemoore College has announced temporary closures of the roundabout in front of the Administration Building and Parking Lot F beginning Monday, Oct. 12, as part of the college's Roundabout Repair Project. Construction is expected to continue through early December.
The closures will affect vehicle access and traffic circulation in the area. Students, employees and campus visitors are encouraged to review the designated closure areas on the campus map and allow additional time when traveling to and navigating campus.
During construction, Kings Area Regional Transit (KART) bus pickup and drop-off services will be temporarily relocated to the front of the Golden Eagle Arena.
"We understand that construction may create some temporary inconveniences for our students, employees, and visitors, and we appreciate everyone's patience as we complete these necessary improvements," said James Preston, president of Lemoore College. "Our goal is to maintain a safe and accessible campus while making improvements that will benefit our college community for years to come."
The college encourages drivers and pedestrians to remain alert, follow posted signage, and use caution when traveling near construction areas.
