One of the easiest ways to meet people outside of your classes is through Student Life & Engagement. The program provides opportunities to participate in student organizations, campus
events, service projects, leadership opportunities, and other activities. The Student
Union can also be a place to spend time between classes, grab something to eat, study,
or simply become more familiar with campus.

Make Your Classes a Starting Point
You do not always have to look beyond the classroom to meet people. Start with something
simple: introduce yourself to the person sitting nearby, ask a classmate about an
assignment, or suggest studying together before an exam.
You might not become close friends immediately, and that is okay. Repeated small interactions can make a campus feel more familiar over time.
If you attend Lemoore College online or have a schedule that makes it difficult to spend time on campus, look for opportunities to connect with classmates through course discussions, group projects, or virtual activities when available. Even one classmate you can ask a question or study with can make college feel less isolating.
Get Involved Through Student Government

getting involved with student government. Lemoore College's student government supports
