High School Equivalency Options

The GED Exam is a proven pathway to complete your high school education. It tests four subject areas: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. One significant benefit of the GED is its widespread recognition and acceptance, however, it's important to note that exams are structured for computer testing.
Our FREE on-campus GED prep lab prepares students to successfully pass the 4 GED exams. You will have access to one-on-one instruction from faculty and tutors, workshops, practice tests, and preparation software.
Instruction and support is available in-person and online in both English and Spanish.

Earning your high school equivalency diploma is a powerful step toward better job opportunities, higher wages, and continued college education and the HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) is designed with busy adult learners in mind.
What makes the HiSET especially flexible is that you can choose the testing format that works best for you: computer-based or paper-and-pencil. The exam is also divided into five separate modules, allowing you to focus on one subject at a time.
We understand that adult learners balance work, family, and other responsibilities. That’s why instruction is offered both in-person and online, in English and Spanish, so you can learn in the format that fits your schedule.
Financial assistance may be available through the California Adult Education Program (CAEP) to help cover testing costs.
