Program Learning Outcomes

Students will create an entire production-ready small-scale website (between 5-10 pages) containing a functional navigation system, a well-organized file structure, proper re-use of CSS and image assets, and a consistent look and feel.

Students will be able to write fully-featured, object-oriented console and web applications that utilize the C# standard library and .NET Framework.

Students will design and build a simple database utilizing relational database concepts including joins, primary/foreign keys, data normalization/denormalization, and attribute atomicity.

Students will be able to design and code a modern, fully-featured web application back-end using the MVC (Model-View-Controller) design pattern, an ORM (Object-Relational Mapper) for data access, and dependency injection.

Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of version control best practices.
