The Get Strong Academy is a series of workshops for Veterans. These workshops are designed for those that are currently in school, are thinking about attending school, want information from Veteran resources, or just want to improve their skills.

Incentives
  • For new participants: attend four workshops and you could be eligible for a stipend and a survival pack (backpack with school supplies).
  • For Veterans Upward Bound Alumni: attend four workshops and you will receive a Veterans Upward Bound T-shirt.
  • BRING A FRIEND: If you have a veteran friend, have them register and attend four workshops. Doing so will put you in a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card.

    Meet the team of Veterans Upward Bound and learn more about the program. This is required for new veterans

    At the conclusion of the fractions, decimals, and percent lesson, learners will be able to recognize when to apply and manipulate these into equivalent mathematical statements.
